High Expectations. Higher Supports. Highest Love!

Language has been passed down through centuries and generations. The expression of language has many forms within culture and context. Through speaking, listening, reading, and writing, language provides the modality to share histories, beliefs, feelings, ideas, and being. Language is like a fingerprint – unique, ancestral, and environmental. While there are larger contextualization of language based on culture, geography, and history; it is also personalized based on lived experiences, perspective, and values.

The dynamic power of language is choosing the method in which to share and engage. We listen to sermons, speeches, podcasts, interviews, lectures, etc., which influences our understanding. We read scripture, autobiographies, research, novels, poems, more examples that build our knowledge and index of meaning. In conversations, debates, and delivery of what we listen to, we express our perspectives. Our backgrounds and context are also shared with others when we speak. Listening and reading provides a chance to directly interpret shared knowledge. We also develop and cultivate our knowledge base. This occurs as we engage in humanity through our language.

Writing Telling! Who tells the story? Who tells your story? Who tells my story? To write is to tell the story. Share the language beyond
